Overview
Theranostics pairs a diagnostic scan with a targeted therapy that uses the same biological target. A patient is imaged first to confirm that a treatment will reach the disease, and the treatment follows. The approach depends on a dependable supply of therapeutic isotopes and the precursor molecules that carry them.
